All you have to do is create a ZIP archive that must contain the following:

  • Your WordPress wp-content folder containing folders: plugins, themes, uploads.

  • A Database dump file named database.sql or wp-content/mysqldb-dump.sql

  • A wp-config.php file specifying the table prefix. This must match the table prefix in your database dump file.

We suggest that you use the Duplicator plugin.  However, there are cases where the plugin could fail.

If that happens, you can still create manually an archive by  either accessing your WordPress site files via SFTP,  or by using Pressidium's Instant Backups.
