What is an Intermediary CA bundle?
A CA bundle is a file (usually a zip) that contains intermediate certificates.
Intermediate certificates are linked in a chain of trust, so that other entities are able to certify that your Certificate Provider (and by extension, your website) is what it says it is.
Need help?
If you are not sure whether your SSL certificate requires an intermediary CA bundle, contact our Support team before uploading the certificate.
Where to go next
- Upload a certificate after confirming your certificate and intermediary CA bundle are ready.
- Review what a PEM file is if you need to check your certificate file format.
- Generate a CSR for new certificate issuing if you need to request a new certificate.
- Enable SSL after the certificate is uploaded and active.
