You can integrate your staging with a repository via a third-party service such as DeployHQ and deploybot:

  1. Login to DeployHQ and click on the Create a new project button.

2. Enter your project name, as well as your repository (in this example we chose GitHub).

3. Click the Authorize application button, to allow GitHub to connect to your DeployHQ account

4. Select your repository.

5. In the Add New Server section, add your website name (a descriptive name).
6. Select SSH/SFTP in the Protocol drop-down menu.

7. Enter your Pressidium website’s  SFTP address, as well as the port and SFTP username (link to CP)

8. Enter the deployment path.

Files in your repository will be deployed under this path. However, it depends on what you want to deploy.

For example if you are developing plugins, your deployment path should include /wp-content/plugins. Alternatively, if you are developing a theme, it’s /wp-content/themes. Your WordPress core files are managed by us and you should not include them in your git repo.

9. Click the Save button

Test your integration

Click the Deploy Now button, to start the deployment of your repository files to your Pressidium website.

DeployHQ will start the deployment, printing the output from the process in your browser window, in the form of logs.  If everything goes OK, then you get a big nice green status confirmation.
