How to override php.ini variables
Open a support ticket and provide the php.ini variable name as well as the value you want to use.
Before getting the request through, we evaluate it in case the proposed change is not justified and/or to ensure that it does not have a negative impact on your website.
Need help?
If you are not sure which PHP.ini value to change, or the site behaves unexpectedly after applying an override, contact our Support team before changing the setting again.
Where to go next
- Switch your PHP runtime if the override depends on the active PHP version.
- Upgrade PHP if the setting change is part of a PHP compatibility update.
- Enable WordPress debug logs if you need to investigate errors after changing PHP settings.
- Review which PHP functions are disabled if your application depends on restricted PHP functionality.
