How EDGE pricing works

Pressidium EDGE pricing is based on requests.

A request is counted when a visitor, bot, browser, or service asks EDGE for a page, file, API response, image, stylesheet, script, or another resource from your site.

Your monthly plan includes a set number of requests. If your site or sites use more than the included amount, additional requests are billed as overage.

This pricing model gives you flexibility because you are not charged per website. You can add multiple WordPress sites to the same EDGE account and choose a plan based on total traffic volume.

Unlimited sites

All EDGE plans include unlimited WordPress sites.

Overage pricing

If your usage exceeds the requests included in your plan, additional requests are billed at $9 per 1M requests.

For example, if your plan includes 20 million requests and your account uses more than that during the month, the extra usage is billed as overage.

Your site continues to run when you exceed the included request amount. You do not need to manually increase your plan before traffic can continue flowing through EDGE.

Choosing the right plan

Choose your EDGE plan based on your expected monthly request volume.

As a general guide:

  • Use Pay as you Go if you are testing EDGE or have low traffic.
  • Use 10 Million if you run one or more sites with moderate traffic.
  • Use 20 Million if you manage several WordPress sites or expect regular traffic growth.
  • Use 50 Million if you operate higher-traffic websites, WooCommerce stores, or agency portfolios.
  • Use 120 Million if you manage large traffic volumes across one or more important WordPress sites.
  • Use Enterprise if you need custom pricing, wholesale usage, or very high request volume.

Changing plans

You can move to a larger plan as your traffic increases.

Larger fixed-rate plans include more prepaid monthly requests and may provide better value as your usage grows.

What happens if traffic spikes?

Pressidium EDGE continues handling requests during traffic spikes.

If a spike causes your account to exceed the requests included in your plan, the extra requests are billed as overage.
