Delete/Remove a primary domain
As you may have already noticed, there is no Remove action in the dropdown menu of the primary domain.

A primary domain cannot be removed from an existing EDGE site independently. To remove the primary domain, you must delete the entire site from Pressidium EDGE.
How to Delete an EDGE site
After confirming that the domain no longer depends on EDGE:
- Log in to the Pressidium Dashboard.
- Go to Websites.
- Select the site associated with the primary domain.
- Go to WordPress > Settings.
- Locate the Danger Zone section.
- Select Delete website.

When you see the dashboard confirmation message, it means that the site is removed from your EDGE account together with its primary domain and site-level EDGE configuration.
Verification
After deleting the site, confirm that:
- The site no longer appears under Websites
- The primary domain continues to load from the intended origin or replacement service
- DNS records no longer point to Pressidium EDGE
- HTTPS works correctly
- Visitors can access the site normally
Where to go next
- Before deleting the site, review DNS propagation explained to understand when visitors will begin using the new DNS records.
- To configure the domain with EDGE again, follow Adding a WordPress site to EDGE.
- To review the remaining sites in your account, return to the Websites overview.
- If the domain does not load after changing its records, use DNS configuration problems.
